This is where I ramble. Believe it or not, it is true that some of my so-called friends have at one time or another accused me of talking too much, of being a chronic over-explainer, of preaching too long, of having DOTM (diarrhea of the mouth). Can you say that on a church website? I guess I will find out soon enough.

I intend to use this space to think out loud, to share things that I find on the WWW, and to be profound every once in a while. Ok, who really "plans to be profound?" See, now that's a dumb idea right there. That is a perfect example of DOTM. Nobody "plans to be profound." You either are profound, or you're not. But you don't PLAN to be profound. Profoundness is a state of being, of consciousness, of existence. It's either in you or it's not. It's not something where you sit down and make an itinerary that includes eating breakfast, driving to work, checking your email, and being profound. If it was that easy, everybody would be practicing profundity!

But I digress. I make no promises about my blog, other than to say this - I will update it as I come across things. So some weeks I will update it daily, and some weeks I won't even think about writing. But I will try to keep it interesting - at least, interesting to me...
